But instead of listing all of them, i am going to tell you about one person that i am most thankful for this thanksgiving day. She is a very close friend of mine. We have known each other since we were 3, we grew up together on the same block and went all through our school years together. She is very special to me.

Saturday, August 18, 2012. I have made a skirt from this pattern before, but had lost my instructions for it. I made myself a new zippered pencil pouch using strips of the selvage. With the girls getting all these new school supplies, I thought I deserved a little something new for my last year of nursing school.

Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Our Trip to the ZOO! The stingrays exhibit is one of the girls first stops! Caroline and Daddy trying to touch a stingray! Caroline gets scared and snatches her hand out the moment they come close! Lauren is quite the pro, she circles the pool and touches as many as she can! My two sweet girls. well most of the time! I just love a family picture.

Friday, October 1, 2010. Found a recipe for cookie dough cupcakes and BEGGED me to make them for her. Since I will take ANY excuse to bake I happily agreed. Mana said they are all she wants for Christmas! I will make these for Mana again but not for me. I would much rather have a Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bar.

Spent some special time on the hill with Papa on his 70th birthday.
